The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs. Michele Rochefort,(CEO-AXA Global Business Services) who attended as the Chief Guest. Accompanying her were her son, Mr. Dominic Bassir, and her son’s friend, Ms. Alphee Duval. The event was also attended by members of the AXA CR team, including Ms. Jai and Mr. Girish.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Mahesh Kumar, who set the tone for the day's events. The staff of DBDS felicitated all the distinguished guests, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for their support and presence.

A highlight of the event was a vibrant dance presentation by children from the slum, showcasing their talent and adding a joyful and lively atmosphere to the occasion. Following the dance, five ladies shared their personal experiences, detailing the training they had received and their current business ventures. Their stories were a testament to the positive impact of the empowerment initiatives.

Mrs. Michele Rochefort, in her address, passionately spoke about her commitment to women empowerment and leadership. Her inspiring words resonated with everyone present, reinforcing the significance of the event's mission.

In addition to her speech, Mrs. Rochefort interacted with the ladies, taking a keen interest in the demonstration of various dresses stitched by them. This hands-on inspection highlighted the practical skills and creativity fostered by the training programs.

Ms. Jai and Mr. Girish from the AXA CR team also shared their insights on the program. They commended the hard work and dedication of the ladies and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful initiative.

The event concluded with a heartfelt thanksgiving, acknowledging the efforts of all participants and supporters including the Salesian Community of DBYC.
