Mumbai, March 2023: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized six Financial Literacy sessions for 461 ladies under the aegis of MGL Disha Project supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited. The details are as follows:

The resource persons were from the nearest post offices where these sessions were conducted.  Resource Persons covered following topics in their session:

• Recurring deposit (RD) and Fixed Deposits

• Monthly Income Scheme(MIS)

• Senior Citizen Scheme (SCS)

• India Post Payment Bank

• Public Provident Fund (PPF)

• National Saving Certificate (NSC)

• Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP)

• Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana 

• Ponzy schemes

During past 10 months 531 women were linked to various savings, investment and insurance scheme. The details are as follows:
