Pune, March 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized two rallies under the aegis of Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project supported by AXA business services.

Two rallies were held this month. First rally was held on 12th March 2022 to create awareness on Health and environmental issues. Over 70 Students and staff from Mata Ramabai Ambedkar school participated in this rally. The women and children gathered in the community at 8.30 AM carrying placards with messages on creating awareness to save, preserve and conserve environment. School children urged people to save water, keep environment clean, save trees, stop using polythene bags etc. Students were very excited to participate in the rally. The rally passed through the lanes of Ajantha Nagar slum spreading the message to save environment. After the rally snacks and Masks were distributed to all participants

Second rally was held on 17th March 2022 on the topic of water conservation. Over 70 Students and staff from Swami Vivekananda PCMC school participated in this rally. Students gathered in the school ground at 7.40 AM carrying placards with messages to save water. In the rally the staff delivered awareness lecture on the importance of water and the necessity to save water. The students passed through the lanes and streets of Ram Nagar and Kalbhor Nagar slum. After rally snacks and Masks were distributed to all.
