Vadodara, October 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 20 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). 

Ms Maheshwari Lohar was the resource person. She took four sessions, whose details are as follows: 

This month, students were introduced to essential hair care and styling techniques, including the use of a Blue Dryer Hair, Hair Strengthening, and Bin Wax application. During the Blue Dryer Hair sessions, students learned to operate and control the dryer for optimal styling, achieving volume, smoothness, and shine without damaging the hair. In the Hair Strengthening class, they explored techniques for reinforcing hair health, using products and methods to protect against breakage and frizz, leaving the hair sleek and resilient. Lastly, the Bin Wax lessons covered the art of styling with wax, guiding students on how to apply the right amount to add texture and hold for various hairstyles. Each lesson emphasized the importance of using tools and products correctly to enhance both the beauty and health of hair, with hands-on practice to build confidence in professional styling.
