Pune, January 2025: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized four general health check-up and eye examination camps for the residents of Anand Nagar slum, Deep Grih, Bhayyawadi and Vijay Nagar slum. A total of 366 individuals were examined by the medical team during the camps supported by AXA Global Business Services. The details of these camps are as follows:

The camps focused on comprehensive health assessments, with a particular emphasis on measuring blood pressure and conducting sugar tests for all patients. Free medicines were distributed to ensure that individuals could receive necessary treatments without financial burden.

Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Medicines for the people with illness were distributed free general infection. 16 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery.
