Pune, August 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) held two rallies under the aegis of covid-19 pandemic relief work project supported by AXA business services.

First rally was organized on 12-August to create awareness on covid-19 pandemic in Jai Jawan Nagar slum. Over 23 children participated in this rally. The children gathered in the community carrying placards with messages on creating awareness on prevention from covid-19 and vaccination. The rally passed through the streets of Jai Jawan Nagar spreading the message on Covid appropriate behaviour.

Second rally was organized on 23-August to create awareness on social and environmental issues. Over 46 SHG women from khadi machine slum participated in this rally. The women & children gathered in the community at 11.00 am carrying placards with messages on creating awareness to save, preserve and conserve environment. School children urged people to save water, keep environment clean, save trees, stop using polythene bags etc.

Women and children were very excited to participate in the rally. The rally passed through khadi machine slum and Khadoba Mandir Street spreading the message to save environment. After the rally soap and mask distributed to all the participants.
