Chinchwad (Pune) : The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized a rally under the aegis of AXA CR Week to address the issues related to Health and Sustainable Environment in the slums of Chinchwad. 11 teachers and 85 students of Mata Ramabai Ambedkar School participated in this rally. The rally was organized on the theme of “Healthy Environment, Healthy People ”. The rally walked through the slums of Ajanta Nagar carrying the message of preserving and promoting clean and healthy environment. During the rally children took oath to stop the use of Plastic bags, save trees and not to create garbage. Children carried placards with slogans and interacted with the people on the way to educate them on harmful effects of plastic. After the rally snacks were distributed to all.
