Vadodara, June-July 2025: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 42 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of Skill Development project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). The training is given in two batches. The morning batch consists of 20 girls trained by Ms Maheshwari Lohar and afternoon batch consist of 22 girls trained by Roshniben Makwana. The session’s details are as follows:

Each girl received practical, hands-on training to develop confidence and proficiency in delivering beauty care services.

Hygiene and sanitation practices were emphasised to meet industry standards.

The programme aimed to prepare participants for self-employment or salon jobs, enabling them to support themselves and contribute to their families’ income.

Trainers provided individual attention to ensure that each participant could master the techniques taught.
