During the month of December, tailoring training sessions were conducted at Kishanwadi in two daily batches to strengthen basic stitching skills and promote product-based income opportunities among adolescent girls. The training covered the basics of operating a sewing machine, pouch making, small bag stitching, and preparation of simple baby frocks through step-by-step demonstrations and hands-on practice. The sessions were facilitated by Neha Sonavne, with 20 girls participating in each batch. The practical orientation of the programme enhanced the participants’ technical efficiency, confidence in using sewing equipment, and ability to create marketable products, supporting their readiness for self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.
