The details of sessions are as follows:
The trainer, Ms. Neha Sonavne, began each session by explaining the design, style, and use of the garment. She highlighted the fabric type, measurement requirements, and tailoring techniques needed. A live demonstration was given on taking accurate body measurements and preparing the drafting pattern on paper.
The trainer then showed how to transfer patterns onto fabric and cut them properly.
Each participant practiced cutting fabric and stitching under the trainer’s guidance.
Special attention was given to seam finishing, proper fitting, and neatness in stitching.
The trainer moved around the class, checking individual work, correcting mistakes, and clarifying doubts. Girls were encouraged to practice on sample fabric before moving to final stitching. By the end of each session, participants completed one garment piece related to the topic. The trainer reviewed their work, gave feedback for improvement, and suggested practice at home.
