Pune, February 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) conducted a series of skill development training programmes focusing on basic fashion designing and beauty care across Chinchwad, Pune, and Mumbai. The trainings were facilitated by experienced resource persons, including Mrs. Anika Mhetre, Ms Fardaus Shaikh, Mrs. Sunanda Pillai, Mrs. Vasanti Jayasheel Bhasme, Mrs. Reena Kotial, and Mrs. Snehal Bhopi. The programmes aimed at enhancing employability and self-reliance among women participants. A total of six training batches were organized, covering basic fashion designing in Chinchwad and Mumbai and beauty care training in Pune and Mumbai. More than 100 participants successfully attended these sessions, gaining practical skills that can support income-generation and livelihood opportunities.
