Vadodara, June 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 42 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of Skill Development project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). The training is given in two batches. The morning batch consists of 20 girls trained by Ms Maheshwari Lohar and afternoon batch consist of 22 girls trained by Ms Roshniben Makwana. The Don Bosco Development Society conducted a series of beauty and wellness skill development training sessions for 42 girls across Shikota Nagar and Kishanwadi, with Maheshwari Lohar and Roshniben Makwana serving as resource persons for the respective batches. The programme aimed to provide participants with practical beauty care skills that can support self-employment and income generation. The training covered essential salon services, including eyebrow shaping, manicure, pedicure, and hair spa techniques. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice, the participants developed technical competencies, learned proper hygiene and client care practices, and gained the confidence to pursue livelihood opportunities in the beauty and wellness sector.
