Pune, July 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society organized two health camps in July 2026 under the Women Empowerment Project, supported by AXA Global Business Services. First health camp was organized on 9th July 2026 in Dalvi Nagar slum. Dr. Vaishanvi Gawhare (B.H.M.S.) and her medical team examined 101 beneficiaries (59 women, 23 men, and 19 children). Basic health screenings, including BP, blood sugar, temperature, and oxygen level, were conducted. Patients were diagnosed with common ailments such as joint pain, fungal and skin infections, common cold, calcium deficiency, gastric disorders, and eye problems. Free medicines were provided to all patients.

Second health camp was organized on 28th July 2026 at Mahatma Phule Nagar slum. Dr. Vaishanvi Gawhare (B.H.M.S.) and her medical team provided medical consultations to 85 beneficiaries (62 women, 10 men, and 13 children). BP, temperature, and oxygen level screenings were carried out, and patients were treated for common illnesses including joint pain, fungal and skin infections, common cold, calcium deficiency, gastric disorders, and eye problems. Free medicines were distributed according to medical needs.
