Pune, May 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society organized a Climate Change awareness session for 30 children under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA GBS. Mrs. Kalpana Talekar Mrs.Minakshai Merukar were the resource persons. 

The objective of the session was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. The Resource Persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body 

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health 

• Water conservation, Waste Management 

• Reduce, reuse and recycle 

These were interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
