Pune, June 2026: On 23 June 2026, the Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad, organized a free general health check-up camp for residents of Indira Nagar slum under the Women Empowerment Project, supported by AXA Global Business Services. A total of 76 beneficiaries, including 63 women, 5 men, and 8 children, received medical consultations from Dr. Vaishanvi Gawhare (B.H.M.S.). The camp included basic health screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar, body temperature, and oxygen saturation checks. Common health issues identified included joint pain, fungal and skin infections, common cold, calcium deficiency, gastric problems, and eye-related ailments. Free medicines were distributed to patients requiring treatment.
